Acupuncture
Therapist: Sue Church

Traditional Acupuncture is part of the traditional medicine of China and has been practiced for over 2000 years and now is widely practised in the West. Acupuncture helps to reinstate our own innate healing capabilities which often become exhausted. In addition, acupuncture is used a preventative medicine to promote good health which is seen as more than just an absence of disease.

Although acupuncture can be effective with specific conditions the treatment focuses on the person rather than the illness. During treatment, fine, disposable needles are inserted into the skin/energetic channel of the body releasing emotional and physical blocks as well as supporting any deficiency. Diet and lifestyle are also discussed.

Acupuncture is effective in the treatment of numerous conditions including headaches, migraines, digestive problems, menstrual disorders, aches and pains, bell's palsy, asthma, hay fever, stress, tiredness, depression and anxiety, panic attacks, ME, fibromyalgia, arthritis, back pain, ulcerative colitis, IBS. high-blood pressure, menopausal symptoms, fertility problems. pregnancy, pain in childbirth, sinus problems, autoimmune diseases, and any collection of strange symptoms, problems with scars, blood sugar imbalance, diabetes, fascitis .
